About

This includes improving their 'voice', building up the confidence of those looking to take up employment opportunities and increasing the understanding and awareness amongst the wider population and organisations to the needs and aspirations of people with disabilities.

Disability Can Do Caerphilly plans to move into new premises by the end of summer 2009. The proposed disability Advocacy and Information services will be run from the new and improved central location. Although the Advocacy and Information service will offer an outreach service, the central location of the new premises will hopefully provide a visible and specialised centre for disabled people and their carers.

This move will also create more networking and partnership work as the new premises will be shared with the Citizen's Advice Bureau, which offers an advocacy and advice service on a broader range of topics. The sharing of rental costs and facilities will help to ease the financial burden on the organisation.
