About

It provides a crèche, playgroup and after-school facility, a home-visiting service, a baby clinic, parenting workshops a drop-in centre as well as a toy and book library.

Through the Fair Share Trust project, a part-time worker was appointed to identify and target isolated parents with disabled children who were not accessing services. The parent is supported to connect with the project, undertake training to develop confidence and self-esteem and to learn advocacy skills to enable them to become aware of the range of services available and to begin to access services that address their needs.

Through the project new partnerships have been developed with statutory and voluntary agencies and in February 2009 hosted a very successful conference on The Statementing Process with a range of specialists and parents presenting.
