The South Yorkshire Community Foundation is a charity and grant maker created by and for the people of Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.

The charity raises funds to meet the needs of local people facing economic hardship and other barriers and improves community life.

South Yorkshire Community Foundation have set up the South Yorkshire Flood Disaster Relief Fund, in conjunction with the four local authorities, Hallam FM and Yorkshire Bank, to alleviate the immediate hardship and suffering of the thousands of people in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield whose lives have been devastated by the floods.

  3. Developing Stainforth’s environment in ways which take account of both our heritage and natural resources.

Rotherham

  1. To become a centre for health and wellbeing
  2. Establishing shared opportunities for working together to increase accessibility to existing and new services, facilities and resources.
  3. Create a greater sense of awareness and shared responsibility towards community safety and the environment
  4. Developing a coordinated approach to meeting the needs and increasing the experiences of all our children and young people
  5. Develop a focused approach to local further education / training and job creation opportunities.
