The South Yorkshire Community Foundation is a charity and grant maker created by and for the people of Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.
The charity raises funds to meet the needs of local people facing economic hardship and other barriers and improves community life.
South Yorkshire Community Foundation have set up the South Yorkshire Flood Disaster Relief Fund, in conjunction with the four local authorities, Hallam FM and Yorkshire Bank, to alleviate the immediate hardship and suffering of the thousands of people in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield whose lives have been devastated by the floods.
