We have a number of projects that aim to help communities and individuals, get back into employment, receive advice on funding for your local community groups, obtain insurance for your village halls, purchase ICT support for your organisation or charity, plus much more. As of April 2008, we have also just released our rural deprivation report which was produced in conjuction with Suffolk County Council. This is an incredible interesting and detailed report and you can view this in full at our dedicated page at www.suffolkacre.org.uk/ruralreport

Local priorities

Waveney

1. Sustainable Community Development – continue to increase participation and involvement by the local community and community groups in developing new activities and services and sustaining existing activities and services.

2. New Services & Activities - to develop sustainable projects as a result of community consultation identified in the FST Business Plan, namely activities for young people, increase volunteering, parent skills development/ support, enhance/ improve the local environment, and enhance / improve community safety and wellbeing.

3. Support for Minority and Ethnic Communities – to recognise and support the increasing migrant and refugee population and other minority groups with sustainable interventions.
