The Community Foundation for Wiltshire & Swindon is a registered charity dedicated to strengthening local communities by encouraging local giving.

We target grants to make a genuine difference to the lives of local people.

We are building an endowment fund to link donors to local need, now and for years to come.

We manage funds that have been set up by individuals, families and companies and help them to support their chosen interests. 

Whatever your charitable interests may be, we can help you ensure your donations will reach out to where they are most needed.

Local priorities

Swindon

1. Facilities and provision for children and young people - 1) To involve and work with children and young people and the local community to develop and manage facilities and provision; 2)To develop the ideas and skills of young people
2. Community organisations and social enterprise - 1) To support the development of local groups and people in order to build community organisations and social enterprise; 2) To get local people involved; 3) To help people learn skills and build confidence; 4) To support access to the resources, advice and training needed to build effective groups
3. Communication and image - 1) To increase communication, community knowledge and contact among local people; 2) To create pride in communities, and in their ability to counter the stigma currently felt
4. Influence other Agencies - To influence views and services from other agencies working in the community
