Bournemouth, Dorset & Poole Community Foundation
We cover: Bournemouth
The Community Foundation for Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole is an independent charitable trust and was founded in 2000. Governed by a Board of Trustees who represent the voluntary, statutory and business sectors across Dorset, it was formed to support community initiatives across the whole County of Dorset, including the unitary authorities of Bournemouth and Poole (hence the long name!)
It is a grant making organisation working exclusively for the people of Dorset, specialising in effective management of funds and supporting charities and voluntary groups working to benefit those at most disadvantage in our local communities.
From its beginnings, the Community Foundation for Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole has continued to grow and develop. It is a member of the Community Foundation Network, and is proud to be one of Dorset’s largest grant-making trusts.
