Community Foundation Network CEO amongst London’s 1000 most influential people

The Community Foundation Network is proud to announce that Stephen Hammersley, our Chief Executive Officer, was considered one of London’s 1000 most influential people by the Evening Standard. The newspaper recognised Hammersley’s leadership in the charity sector with the following statement:

The Durham-educated ex-Barclays banker runs the charity which aims "to make our communities better places to live". That fitted in with David Cameron's "Big Society" long before the Prime Minister dreamed up the idea. CFN worked in partnership with the London Evening Standard on the award-winning Dispossessed campaign, helping to raise more than £7 million.
