Staff changes in CFN team

Posted on Fri 29 January 2010

Firstly, happy new year!

I'm delighted to let you know that CFN has appointed a new Performance Officer, Ned Brown, to replace Lydia Raw.

Although the job title has changed slightly (previously Programme Officer) the role remains the same, but with an increased focus on ensuring that CFN supports you all to make sure we acheive the best quality performance and outcomes for communities in FST neighbourhoods.

Ned is joining us from the General Teaching Council for England, where he worked in the policy directorate as part of a team delivering a national programme of teacher development. He has worked in the charity sector in Uganda, China and India and has experience of linking the local delivery of services with central direction. Ned has recently achieved a postgraduate degree from King’s College London and gained his undergraduate BA from the University of Birmingham. He is particularly interested in the role of communities in education and development and is keen to apply his skills to the ideals of the Fair Share Trust.

Thank you for bearing with us while we were a staff member down at the end of last year, and I'm sure you'll join us here at CFN in welcoming Ned to his new role. Ned can be contacted at nbrown@communityfoundations.org.uk

Best wishes

Kate
