Ashfield Local Update for July 2009

Ashfield Fair Share Trust have just successfully supported 2 Big Lunch initiatives in the Carsic and New Cross areas of Ashfield. Dozens of residents gathered at each location on 19 July to enjoy home made cakes and goodies whilst sharing chat and banter. From these events there is high expectations that the neighbourhood spirit that has been established will be developed to support current initiatives regarding residents voice, community pride and volunteering.
