Sinfin and Austin Fair Share Trust Grants Round 1 2008/2009

The Sinfin & Austin panel met on Tuesday 30th September 08 at Sinfin Library, Sinfin. They were presented with the first applications for Fair Share Trust funding, the following awards were made: P1 - Community Derby Live At Home Project £1,100.00 To contribute toward the cost of transport for members of the scheme living in Sinfin Suport Ltd £9,120.00 To cover the cost of purchasing an IT server, creating a small training room, employing an outreach worker to promote SUPORT in the community and to produce 6 community newsletters P2 - Youth Messy Tots £9,963.00 To contribute toward the running costs of Messy Tots sessions for 12 months Derby Quad £3,342.00 To provide a week of activities during either the October half term holiday or the half term holiday after Christmas for girls ages 13-19 years old in the Sinfin area P3 - Training Sinfin Together Partnership £6,000.00 To contribute toward a new program of community development workshops Suport Ltd £9,960.00 To contribute toward the cost of providing a series of free Computer courses and Arts & Crafts courses in Sinfin to encourage people into learning
