Working together for a safer community

Alumwell Residents Group and Alumwell Neighbourhood Watch are working together to provide a safer cleaner environment to local residents.
Alumwell is a small area within Walsall - there are 2,500 homes and over 50 small businesses, three schools, , a hospital, several places of worship and a public library on the boundary the Alumwell estate
The Alumwell Estate is a diverse and cosmopolitan area, comprising of many different languages, customs and traditions, which makes the Alumwell area by its very nature, a very rich place to live and work.
However, the area has been blighted with anti social behaviour such as fly tipping, illegal parking, kerb crawling and substance abuse.
Local residents have been working collectively to improve the area for all people to live and future generations to enjoy. Using funding from Fair ShareTrust, residents have been empowered to start up many community initiatives and support community action within the area.
